Having been raised on Folk and Bluegrass music, Gal longed for a reconnection to her musical kinsfolk in her new home of New Orleans. Following Hurrican Katrina and her subsequent effects over the New Orleans musical community. The Honky Tonk Revue returned with a renewed spirit and musical vision.
